The Organizing Committee with the partners, the International Union of Crystallography (IUCr) and European Crystallographic Association (ECA), provide a limited number of bursaries for graduate, PhD students and young postdoc scientists (max. age 32 on 01.01.2021) to enable them to attend EPDIC17 by covering, partially or completely, the subsistence expenses and/or registration fee.
Application for bursary must be carried out via MyEPDIC17 by no later than March 5, 2021.
The Bursary committee will select the most excellent and motivated students and provide them with financial support. The decision will be made based on:
Recommendation letter from the supervisor or head of the department/group
Letter of motivation
The Bursary committee will send you the decision on your application on March 10, 2021.
You are required to accept or decline provided bursary support by no later than March 19, 2021 and to finalize your registration until March 30, 2021.
All previously granted bursaries are automatically transferred to the rescheduled EPDIC17. In other words, if you have obtained a bursary to attend the original EPDIC17, it will be automatically applied to the rescheduled EPDIC17. The grantees who are not able to participate in the rescheduled EPDIC17 can cancel their registrations and receive a refund of the reduced registration fee in line with our cancellation policy. Please note that the cancellation of your registration will be considered as a withdrawal of your bursary support. For the cancellation of your participation in EPDIC17 you should send a written request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
